Titel : Membaca Sungai Tua / Reading an Ancient River
Medium : Acrylik, Permanent Ink on canvas
Size : 100 x 120 cm
Year : 2024
A childhood recollection in which the river felt ancient within the soul. Like a mother’s face, filled with care, nurturing life through its currents, whether in tide or ebb. The memory of wood in its natural state still lingers, before concrete came to adorn the riverbanks. This work is a collage of simple ecological memories of the Kapuas River, carrying the message that we and our environment are inseparable.
